Βιογραφικό
Με σπουδές στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό μαθήτευσε δίπλα σε μεγάλους δασκάλους και παιδαγωγούς Διατηρεί μια πολυπεπίδεδη δραστηριότητα σε διάφορους τομείς της σύγχρονης δημιουργίας. Ασχολείται ενεργά με ερμηνείες σύγχρονων έργων, με την διερεύνηση θεματικών ενοτήτων ως προς το ρεπερτόριο, εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα, έρευνα, παιδαγωγικά πρότζεκτ, εκδόσεις, αρθρογραφία, καλλιτεχνικές διοργανώσεις και παραγωγές ενώ το ενδιαφέρον της τα τελευταία χρόνια εστιάζεται στο ρεπερτόριο μουσικής δωματίου συνθετών της Ρωσικής Πρωτοπορίας αλλά και άλλων σημαντικών Ευρωπαϊκών σχολών και νέων συνθετών. Διακεκριμένοι Έλληνες και ξένοι συνθέτες έχουν αφιερώσει έργα τους προς τιμή της, τα οποία ή ίδια παρουσίασε σε πρώτες εκτελέσεις(πάνω από 100), ενώ το ρεπερτόριό της περιλαμβάνει μια μεγάλη γκάμα έργων κλασικής και σύγχρονης μουσικής.
Προσκαλείται τακτικά σε σημαντικά διεθνή φεστιβάλ, Ακαδημίες και Πανεπιστήμια για συναυλίες, διαλέξεις και master courses στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό. Ιδρυτικό μέλος πολλών ενόργανων συνόλων και φεστιβάλ.
Από το 2000 εργάζεται στο Κ.Ω.Θ όπου διατελεί χρέη υπεύθυνης τμήματος πιανιστικής συνοδείας και International Relations Coordinator (IRC) καθώς και στο Ωδείο Αθηνών.
Από το 2020 αναλαμβάνει την Καλλιτεχνική Διεύθυνση του Δημοτικού Ωδείου Πυλαίας-Χορτιάτη.
Έχει ηχογραφήσει για την Protasis Productions, Subways Music, Ankh Productions από το 2017 ηχογραφεί για την Odradek Records και από το 2022 για την Da Vinci Records.

The pianist is actively involved in contemporary music. The last 20 years she has taken a special interest in the study and promote of works by 20th & 21st century Greek composers.
Distinguished contemporary composers have dedicated some of their works to her and she performed their world premieres (more than 100). She is frequently ventures out to innovative projects, contemporary music, artistic research, and pedagogic projects. She is interested in every aspect of the arts that can be creatively combined with piano performance. She has received excellent critiques for her entire presence in the artistic domain awarded from the Greek Union of Greek Reviewers for Theatre and Music.
Erato Alakiozidou performs extensively in Europe in important concert halls and festivals wresting always very good reviews. She has recorded for the Greek and Bulgarian state radio & television and for the German southwest broadcasting corporation. She is a founder member of many ensembles, and festivals
She works in the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki- IRC & Head of Accompaniment Department and Athens Conservatoire. Since 2020 she was appointed Artistic Director of Pylaia-Hortiatis Municipal Conservatory.
She is regularly invited by many musical associations as a jury to competitions or to give master classes in Europe.
She has recorded for Subways music, Ankh productions & Protasis productions.
Last few years she records for the American label Odradek and Da Vinci Records
